If you have not carried out DIY plumbing work at all it would

be quite a learning curve. If it is to be DIY I suggest you buy a DIY

manual. They will cover basic plumbing. It is not rocket science as they

say, but you need a thought through plan of work.

It may be helpful to know, if you are short of space, that a corner bath

will fit against a short wall if need be. They come in many different
configurations. Also you can even buy 'shower tubs' which are just 1200 mm
long. Standard baths are 1700 mm approximately. When moving the toilet,
unless you can get a straightforward pipe run to the old connection, you
can get flexible connectors these days which can overcome problems.
Look at the Screwfix catalogue. Visit Plumber is Merchants for their
catalogues (not brochures), DIY stores, speak to the Plumbing Adviser at B
& Q & you will have a better idea of what is available. Happy plumbing!

The biggest consideration is the type of construction you

currently have.

If you have a basement or pier & beam then all of the plumbing can be

changed with minimum of problems other that material & labor.

If you have a concrete slab on grade then the sewer line can become a
major item to change since it is buried under the slab & will take more
effort to move to the new location.

As previously suggested, a plumber or expert re-modeler are the only ones
who can really assess ur problem.
