Mending a hole in bathroom sink
My bathroom sink has a small hole on a side.The sink looks stone made but
actually plastic.What material can l use to mend it?Where to buy it?
Since it is plastic & looks like stone, I'd mix some sand into
Araldite epoxy glue - the slow-dry sort, & put that into the hole. It
should stick well, be flexible enough for temperature changes, & the sand
will reinforce & disguise the repair. I'd recommend shaping the hole so
that the inside is a slightly bigger diameter - use a random cut to make
it less noticeable when the hole is filled. This con-shape will act like a
plug & will not leak or fall out. Before you fill it, make sure there is no soap or dust or grease in the hole.
